Over the holidays

Hello everyone,

I have had a lovely half term holiday.  Hasn’t the weather been great?  I have visited Mablethorpe.  This is a seaside town on the east coast of England north of Skegness.  We played on the beach and paddled in the sea.  It was the North Sea though so it was very chilly. Brr!  We also played crazy golf and I won.  What have you been up to over the holidays?

Bye for now,

Barnaby Bear.

Your Easter Adventures

Hi everyone,

You have been very busy over the Easter Holidays having lots of fun in the new places you have explored.  I have really enjoyed reading about these and it has given me lots of ideas for where to explore next.  I love exploring!

I have been to the Lake District over the holidays.  We went in the car on the motorway and it took about 90 minutes from my home in Chester.  The Lake District has got lots of big hills to walk up and we did lots of that.  We explored a very busy town in the Lake District called Windemere.  This has a large lake called Lake Windemere.  I fed the ducks and geese although they were still hungry and tried to eat my ice-cream!

Where are you going over the bank holiday weekend?  Remember to tell me all about it.

I went to Bakewell  Park, Graves Park  and Willow Tree Farm Park.  I played football with my cousin Sam, it was fun. I saw lots of animals and I fed all of the sheep.  The big sheep was so tall I couldn’t even reach his head to give him some food. I went to Toby carvery for breakfast one day and it was fun. There were comfy seats and i ate lots of butter on toast.

Cotswolds Adventures!

Hello,

Our first week of the Easter holidays was filled with lots of outdoor fun! We visited the Cotswolds near Somerford Keynes and took part in lots of activities which included football, scooter riding, swimming and walking! During one walk we took part in the Miss Mouse Trail which led us to 5 treasure chests hidden in the forests and nature reserves. We opened the locks by working out the combinations and collected a compass, magnifying glass, mini kaleidoscope, insect collector jar and an insect glider.  The trail was 5 miles long and we did so well completing it. We are planning on doing it all over again next year!

Happy Holidays everyone!

Florence on holiday in Northumberland

Dear Barnaby,

I stayed in Beadnell Bay in our caravan.

I went to Holy Island and we bought some fudge. It was delicious!

My favourite bit was making sandcastles and paddling in the sea.

Ethiopia 2017

This Easter I went to Ethiopia with my Mum and Dad. We had a great time visiting my family in Addis Ababa, playing with all the children in my Dad’s children’s home and going swimming. It was nice and hot and I needed a lot of sun cream. The hotel we stayed in had nice food and we saw dancing in the evenings.

Samuels Holidays

Dear Barnaby Bear,

In the Easter holidays I went on two holidays.

First I went to Norfolk to see my Cousins. We went to Castle Acre to see an old ruined Castle and Priory. We went to Go Ape and climbed in between the trees like a monkey and at the end there was a big zip wire.

Secondly I went to Majorca with my Mum and my sister Miah. We met our friends Brandon who is seven and Ronnie who is two. Their Mum’s name is Anna. We in the swimming pool and on the beach. We swam in the sea and we found six Jellyfish. At night time we stayed up for a disco, ate a toffee apple and played pool, crazy golf and air hockey. There was a theme park in the hotel with an upside down house where the lights were on the floor and everything else was stuck to the ceiling. There was also a jungle room where there was a button and a big Hippo came out of the ceiling.

Heidi Thurlby – Green Class

Hi Barnaby

I have had a lovely Easter holiday with my family. It started by seeing my big sister dance on the stage at the pomegranate for the Easter Panto Tour.

I have been to South Wales to visit my friends Sophie and Ella – they took us to a waterfall, the seaside and a science museum in Cardiff.

Since we have come back from Wales I have visited Gullivers Kingdom with my family – I loved the blue rollercoaster.

I have been to Longshaw Estate where we went for a walk and did an Easter Egg hunt.

I have learnt to ride my two wheel bike and have ridden it at Queens Park, Bakewell Park and Matlock Park.

I have been to my friends house to play and I have been to my cousins where we did an Easter Egg hunt and my cousin has been to my house to play.

Toby’s Easter Fun! (Gold class)

I have had lots of fun during the Easter holidays and eaten lots of yummy chocolate!

I have spent a lot of time on my bike but have also visited Clumber Park for an Easter egg hunt and l tried using a bow and arrow.  I also went to Chatsworth with my little cousin Jack.

My favourite day was celebrating my birthday with my friends from school.  I had a football party at Queen’s Park Sports Centre and scored a goal in the penalty shoot out!

I have really enjoyed my holidays!

Love Toby  xx
